Terms and Conditions

Bookings are accepted under the following conditions. Reservations made and confirmed in writing or via email by both Planet Wales and the client constitute a binding legal agreement. Reservations must be confirmed with payment made prior to a tour unless Planet Wales has given written or email exception to the client. Receipt of payment notification shall be issued via email once payment has been cleared. Payment should be made by electronic transfer, cheque or by cash (subject to approval from Planet Wales) prior to the tour.

For clients such as tour operators, government, public bodies, educational establishments, corporate clients, clubs and societies, Planet Wales will agree to post-tour payment via invoice if written or email arrangement has been made in advance.

Planet Wales reserves the right to cancel tours at any time, at its own discretion, on the grounds of safety, extreme weather, illness, injury or accident. In such circumstances the limit of Planet Wales liability shall be the money paid to Planet Wales. No liability will be accepted for any outside expnses incurred by the client. Any refunds will be paid within 28 days.

In cases of cancelation by the client, the effective date of cancellation will be the date Planet Wales receives written or email notification. Cancellation charges payable by the clients are as follows: Cancellation between 7 and 14 days of the date of the commencement of the tour will be subject to 50% of the agreed tour cost. Cancellations less than 7 days of the tour will be subject to 100% of the agreed tour cost. For clients failing to turn up on the day of a tour, 100% of the tour fee is charged.

Planet Wales will endeavour to provide the tour itinerary as agreed, however we do reserve the right to make alterations to routes and timings on the grounds of safety, weather and changes in circumstances beyond our control.

Planet Wales does not accept liability for any action, negligent or accidental by any person providing services in connection to our tours unless that person is employed by Planet Wales.

Planet Wales reserves the right to refuse commencement or to terminate a tour under way if a client’s behaviour is deemed by ourselves to be offensive, violent or upsetting to other clients, staff of suppliers or the public. In such circumstances Planet Wales shall end the agreement to provide tour services with immediate effect and will accept no liability for subsequent cost or compensation from that time.

Any client found to be using or carrying illegal substances (under UK laws) or to be consuming excess alcohol will have their tour terminated by Planet Wales and no responsibility for compensation or cost liability will be accepted by Planet Wales in these circumstances.

Planet Wales recommends that the client arranges suitable travel, medical, luggage and cancellation insurance to cover the period of their tour. All baggage and personal effects brought on tour are done so at the client own risk.
